Saudi food assistance delivered to Algeria

Saudi ambassador to Algeria Dr. Sami bin Abdullah Al-Saleh delivered here today a consignment of 206 tons of dates as the Kingdom\'s assistance to Algeria under the World Food Program. The consignment was handed over by the ambassador to the Director of the Program\'s Executive Office in Algiers Dr Osama Osman. The handing over ceremony was attended by a representative of Saudi Arabia\'s Ministry of Finance. Speaking on the occasion, the ambassador expressed the Kingdom\'s keenness on continuing support for projects and humanitarian activities undertaken by the World Food Program in various countries around the world.
