The Custodian of Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz has received a letter from the Yemeni President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi including his appeal for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries to hold a conference on the Yemeni crisis.
The Saudi Press Agency quoted a Royal Diwan statement as saying today that Hadi wished that various Yemeni political parties who are keen on the country' stability to partake in this confrere which will aim at maintaining the stability and safety of Yemen, upholding the state's legitimacy and rejecting the coup.
It will also aim at denying the so-called constitutional declaration and calling for the return of weapons and all military equipment to the country's government, imposing the state's authority and power on all of Yemen's lands, resuming the political process according to the Gulf initiative, and refusal of turning Yemen into becoming a habitat for radical and terrorist organization, the statement added.
The GCC countries have expressed their readiness and accepted Hadi's appeal of holding the conference in Riyadh, it added.
