
Saudi King Salman bin Abdel Aziz al Saud issued a royal decree relieving Hamad bin Abdulaziz al Suwailem, chairman of the Royal Diwan, of his position.
Khaled bin Abdel Rahman al Issa, a state minister, has been appointed acting chairman of the Royal Diwan.
The king also relieved his adviser Prince Meshaal bin Abdullah bin Abdel Aziz al Saud of his post and appointed him Prince of the northern border area at the rank of a minister.
He also appointed Majed bin Abdullah al Hukeil as minister of housing.
