Saudi Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Aziz al-Sheikh has warned of plots against Muslims, calling on all Muslims not to be a bridge, which their enemy could use it to target them.
During Arafat sermon for the 34th year in a row, Saudi Arabia's top cleric slammed terrorist acts committed in the name of the religion.
"Our Islamic nation was today afflicted with people who intentionally kill others, but in the name of our religion, which, as we stated before, is innocent from this false accusation," the Mufti said.
He praised efforts exerted by Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdel Aziz for his efforts to serve pilgrims.
He also praised efforts exerted by security forces to secure the country, calling on them to decisively face those who seek to undermine the security of the nation.
