
On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, is set to patronize the opening ceremony of the 4th International Conference on Disability and Rehabilitation in Riyadh on Sunday evening and give away Prince Salman Prize for Disability.
A number of ministries and organizations took part in arranging and organizing the two-day event which aims at highlighting the pioneering role the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is playing in the service of combating disability and helping the disabled.
Representatives from 117 countries, including scientists, researchers, academicians and experts are taking part of the conference which will discuss medical, educational, social and psychiatric research, ways of training and equipping people with disability, the issues of legislations, rights of the crippled as well as cultural and media aspects.
