Interior Ministry forces continued wide-scale security campaigns nationwide to restore law and order on the Egyptian street.
During the past 24 hours, 115 unlicensed firearms were seized, an arms manufacturing workshop was busted and six stolen cars were handed over to their owners.
The campaigns also led to handling 247 drug cases, arresting five gangs and 82 fugitives and seizing 135 pieces of cold weapons.
The seized firearms include 23 automatic rifles and machine guns, 23 shotguns, seven pistols and 447 bullets.
