
Security forces have seized a depot of narcotics containing 1,300 kg of marijuana (bangu) in South Sinai.
Police had acted upon information that some drug dealers stored huge amounts of "bangu" in a mountainous area in Nuweiba to be sold during Eidul Fitr holiday.
Legal measures and security arrangements were made in coordination with the Central Security Forces to raid the targeted area.
An SUV and a firearm were also seized in the operation
