Security plan drawn up to secure Eidul Fitr celebrations

An expanded security plan was drawn up to secure celebrations of Eidul Fitr, scheduled to start on Wednesday, Assistant Interior Minister and Director of the General Department for Civil Protection Maj. Gen. Mohamed Saqr said.
Speaking to MENA on Tuesday, Saqr said the security plan was outlined upon directives by Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar.
Policemen will be deployed nationwide to provide security and maintain stability, he noted .
Saqr urged citizens to call the police if they find any suspicious objects.
