The Sharjah Charity International (SCI) has distributed winter aid to displaced Syrian persons in Lebanon as part of the UAE's strategy to help victims of disasters and wars.
Mohammed Hamdan Al Razi, Project Manager, SCI, said the warm winter campaign provided winter clothing and blankets as well as heating fuel for 930 families.
'The multi-phase winter assistance drive will be carried out throughout the extreme cold season so as to reach as many vulnerable people as we can,' he added.
'We, in the UAE, will always take care of those segments and will continue to provide assistance in a manner that preserves their dignity and eases their suffering,' he said.
