
MP Talaat el Sewidi from Al Wafd Party said that his priority inside the parliament within the upcoming period will focus on issuing legislation which serves the national economy and activating investment laws and eliminating bureaucracy in procedures.
In statements to reporters following obtaining the membership card at the House of Representative, Sewidi, who is from Sharqiya governorate, said that he backs the proposal related to increasing the presidential term from four years to six years given the difficult circumstances which are taking place in the country.
Sewidi said that Al Wafd Party supports the state and its stability, adding that the party aims to preserve Egypt's higher interest and protect rights and freedoms.
