
Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah left Riyadh on Saturday after participating in an urgent GCC Ministerial Council over Yemen.
The GCC Foreign Ministers rejected the Houthis' coup e'etat and urged UNSC members to adopt a resolution under Chapter VII of the UN Charter to reverse the "illegitimte" developments in Yemen.
Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled was seen off at Riyadh Airbase by Kuwait ambassador to Saudi Arabia Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and a number of the Kuwaiti embassy officials.
The Kuwaiti delegation to the meeting includes Director of Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled's office Ambassador Sheikh Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah, the Director of the GCC Affairs Department, Ambassador Nasser Hajji Al-Muzain, Kuwait's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, and a number of foreign ministry officials.
