
First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah held talks in Muscat Saturday with Omani Minister responsible for Foreign Affairs Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah on cooperation among the six GCC countries to achieve common interest.
The two top officials also discussed latest developments at the regional and international levels.
The meeting was attended by Director of Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled's office Ambassador Sheikh Ahmad Nasser Mohammad Al-Sabah and Kuwait's Ambassador to Oman Fahad Hejr Al-Mutairi.
Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled arrived in the Omani capital earlier in the day on a short visit.
He was in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, earlier in the day and met with Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal to discuss common march of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
