
A Saudi security personnel and two Yemeni expats were killed Sunday when shells hit Saudi cities of Zaharn Al Janoub and Jizan.
The spokesman for the Saudi Interior Ministry said a heavy firing from the Yemeni territories targeted a border guard station in Zaharn Al Janoub, where a Saudi corporal was killed.
Meanwhile, the spokesman for Civil Defense in Jizan said that two Yemeni expats were killed when shells hit the city earlier in the day.
He added that the shells were launched from the Yemeni territory.
The Saudi-Yemeni border is a scene of clashes and shoot-outs between Saudi forces and militants of Yemen's Houthi group.
