Shoukry, Lavrov discuss Libyan crisis, Syrian peace talks

Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on Tuesday received a phone call from his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, during which they discussed the situation in Libya and ongoing efforts to prepare for upcoming peace talks between Syrian parties in Geneva to be held within a few days.
The two sides also tackled preparations for Shoukry's visit to Moscow in mid-March as well as the course of bilateral ties in various fields, Egyptian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said.
