
Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry Saturday telephoned his Russian Counterpart Sergei Lavrov as part of regular consultations with international and regional parties on the latest developments in Syria and Libya.
The two top diplomats discussed efforts exerted with international and regional parties on the two files, Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Abu Zeid said.
The talks covered the outcomes of Vienna 2 meeting on Syria and measures for the conclusion of a deal for a national government in Libya, the spokesman added.
They agreed on continuing discussions in the next period on regional and international files of mutual interest, the spokesman added.
