Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukri phoned head of Libya's national accord government Fayez Mustafa al Sarraj to discuss the latest developments on the Libyan arena.
In statements on Sunday, Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Abu Zeid said that the two sides also stressed the importance of intensifying efforts to fight terrorist organizations, topped by Daesh group.
During the telephone call, Sarraj voiced his appreciation of Egypt's continued support for Libya, saying he is looking forward to visiting Egypt in the near future, the spokesman added.
