Head of the Egypt Youth Federation Ahmed Hosni said President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has forced the parties to face their responsibilities by calling on them to form a unified list after having witnessed divisions and conflicts on the political arena.
In a statement released here on Tuesday, Hosni said the meeting held today between the president and the parties was a good step in the right direction at the political and economic levels.
The meeting reflected the president's wish to reach real democracy, the statement added.
The president's denial of any support to the list of former prime minister Kamal el Ganzouri reflects neutrality of the state and this will have a positive impact on the upcoming parliamentary elections, the statement said.
