
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi held a meeting Thursday with Prime Minister-designate Sherif Ismail to discuss the suggested nominees for the incoming cabinet.
During the meeting, President Sisi underlined the importance of choosing ministers according to their competence, integrity and vision for the future, presidential spokesman Alaa Yusuf said.
The next cabinet has to swiftly address hot files to achieve a leap in services provided to citizens and has to pay more attention for needy and marginalized people, the spokesman said.
Also, he shed light on the importance of developing the administrative system to realize higher levels of transparency and efficiency, Yusuf said.
Sisi asked Ismail to provide all possible facilities to the High Elections Committee to enable it hold a free and honest parliamentary vote, the spokesman said.
