
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received two phone calls from Sudanese President Omar al Bashir and Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi expressing their condolences over the death of Egypt's Prosecutor General Hesham Barakat.
The Sudanese and Tunisian presidents expressed condolences to the Egyptian people and Barakat's family, Presidential Spokesman Alaa Youssef said.
President Sisi expressed thanks and appreciation of the stances of both Sudan and Tunisia and asserted Egypt's determination to continue with efforts to combat terror and confront violence.
