
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi returned home on Saturday coming from Jakarta winding up a week-long successful Asian tour that took him to Singapore, China and Indonesia.
Sisi held talks with presidents and senior officials in the three countries on issues of common interest and signed a number of agreements.
As many as 15 economic agreement and two memorandums of understanding were signed during Sisi's visit to Indonesia.
President Sisi also invited his Indonesian counterpart to visit Egypt, which was welcomed by Widodo.
Sisi arrived in Singapore last Sunday with a very busy agenda as it was the the first by an Egyptian president and marked the 50th anniversary of bilateral relation establishment.
In Singapore, Sisi met with President Tony Tan and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
Then, the president visited China as part of the distinguished ties.
In Beijing, Sisi met with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping and witnessed the signing of a number of agreements and memos of understanding.
The president also met with Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang and attended China's celebrations to mark the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II.
He also met with world leaders on the sidelines of the celebrations.
