
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi will attend a large celebration marking the 150th anniversary of establishing the Egyptian parliament.
The president will deliver a speech during the ceremony, which will be held in the Red Sea resort city of Sharm el Sheikh.
Egypt's parliament speaker Ali Abdel Aal will deliver a seven-minute opening speech to be followed by speeches by the speakers of the Arab and African parliaments and the secretary general of the Inter Parliamentary Union.
A 20-minuted documentary about parliamentary life in Egypt will be screened.
The African parliament will start meetings on Monday in Sharm el Sheikh with the participation of more than 50 African countries.
