
President Abdel Fattha El Sisi will deliver a speech to the opening session of the international conference on Palestine under the rubric "the reconstruction of Gaza".
Also, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will deliver a speech during the opening session, a diplomatic source said on Thursday.
A host of international and Arab officials will take part in the conference.
After the end of the conference, a joint press conference will be held by Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and his Norwegian counterpart along with a representative from the Palestinian Authority.
The event aims at boosting the principles of the ceasefire agreement between the Palestinians and the Israelis and improving the climate for reaching a political solution for the conflict.
The conference also targets promoting the UN mechanisms to import and export goods to and from the Gaza Strip.
