
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al Sisi's visit to Spain has witnessed intensive activities on the second day.
Sisi met earlier in the day with Spanish Minister of Economy and Competitiveness Luis de Guindos and a number of Egyptian and Spanish businessmen during which he urged them to invest in Egypt especially in transportation and energy sectors.
He also attended the signing ceremony of a cooperation deal between Egypt and Spain in the transportation field.
The Egyptian delegation accompanying the president has also witnessed the signing ceremony of a cooperation deal between Egypt and Spain in fish farms field.
A number of agreements and memorandum of understandings in economic and investment fields are expected to be inked between the two countries today.
Meanwhile, the president is planned to meet with Spanish King Felipe VI and Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy.
A meeting between the Egyptian and Spanish delegations is also expected to be held today.
The president will also attend a lunch banquet that will be held by the Spanish king in his honor.
