
Robert Fico, Prime Minister of Slovak Republic, yesterday opened in the presence of Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, the embassy of the Slovak Republic in Abu Dhabi.
The Slovak prime minister lauded the Slovakia-UAE ties, noting that the opening of the embassy represented an important step towards enhancement of bilateral relations so as to serve mutual interests.
Robert Kalinak, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the Slovak Republic, Dusan Horniak, Slovak Ambassador to UAE, Ali Abdullah Al Ahmed, Director of the European Affairs Department at the ministry of Foreign Affairs, and a number of senior Emirati and Slovak officials attended the event.
