
Minister of Social Solidarity Ghada Wali has approved 380,000 pounds in aid to families of Egyptian fishermen held in Sudan.
As many as 83 fishermen from Daqahlilya were held in Sudan.
Local official at the ministry in Daqahliya Essam Borham said the fishermen belong to 79 families.
He added that 5,000 pounds were cashed by 76 families at a total of 380,000 pounds.
The remaining cases will receive the rest of the assistance after they finish some documents.
