A Sudanese committee concerned with the detained Egyptian students case will visit Egypt soon to post Egyptian authorities on documents of the case, Egyptian Immigration Minister of Nabila Makram said.
The documents will show who is involved in the case, she said in pre-departure statements on Thursday.
She noted that the Egyptian students detained in Sudan are well treated.
During a three-day visit, Makram held intensive talks with Sudanese officials on means of releasing Egyptian high school students who face charges of leaking exam papers and mass cheating.
Sudan considers the case as a national security issue, Makram said.
There are 26 Egyptian and Jordanian students held in the case.
About 1,477 Egyptian students attended high school exams in Sudan, Egyptian Ambassador in Khartoum Osama Shaltout said.
Earlier Thursday, Makram said Sudan pledged to release detained Egyptian students next week.
Makram said she will return to Sudan next week to follow up freeing the students.
