
President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, has issued a Republican Decree increasing number of the judges in the Judiciary structure.
According to the decree the number of the Supreme Court judges will be increased from 80 to 100 judges, the number of the Supreme Court judges will be increased from 200 to 250, the number of the General Court judges will be increased from 250 to 300 judges, the number of the first class judges will be increased from 400 to 450 judges, the number second class judges will be increased from 300 to 450 judges, the number of the third class judges will be increased from 300 to 350 judges and the number of the judicial assistants will be increased from 200 to 300.
The decree has directed the concerned authorities to put the decree into action.
