
Chairman of the Justice and Equality Movement, Jibril Ibrahim, said that his movement is continuously endeavoring to reach comprehensive, permanent and just peace in Darfur especially and Sudan in general, adding this endeavor will not be affected by absence of a group of individuals at the negotiations.
In a press statement after the opening sitting of the direct negotiations between the government, the Justice and Equality Movement and Sudan Liberation Movement (Menawi Faction) in Addis Ababa, Jibril said that his movement has determined to search for durable and comprehensive peace.
He said that his movement regards comprehensive peace in Sudan as a strategic goal.
