
The First Vice - President of the Republic, Lt. Gen. Bakri Hassan Salih, has affirmed the state keenness to boost the efforts for implementing the security arrangements item.
This came when he received in his office at the Republican Palace the Chairman of Darfur Regional Authority (DRA), Dr. Al-Tigani Sessi.
Dr. Sessi has informed the First Vice - President on the implementation of the security arrangements which began Monday by re-integration of men of the Justice and Equality Movement.
He pointed to the program of the Security Arrangements Commission for implementing the security arrangements and re-integration of men of the Liberation and Justice Movement and the Justice and Equality Movement.
Dr. Sessi said in a press statement that implementation of the security arrangements for men of the Liberation and Justice Movement would begin shortly in Al-Fasher, Genaina and Nyala towns.
He explained that implementation of the security arrangements means absorbing fighters of the armed movements in the regular forces in response to a demand of the people of Darfur which they declared at the Conference of the People of Darfur in July 2012.
Dr. Sessi indicated that he reviewed with the First Vice - President issues of development in Darfur and commitment of the center to implementation of the rehabilitation and development program.
He added that they also deliberated about the tribal conflict between Rezaigat and Ma'alia.
