
Saudi security forces arrested on Friday a terrorist on charges of targeting policemen.
An arrest warrant was issued for Mofid al Omran in connection with a series of terrorist attacks that left two policemen dead and three others wounded in al Qatif city, the spokesman for the Saudi Interior Ministry said.
He added that the arrestee also faces charges of torturing a citizen to death.
The terrorist was nabbed with two firearms and 15 narcotic pills in his possession, he concluded.
