Endowments Ministry affirmed Thursday Jerusalem is an Islamic right, saying that liberating Jerusalem, al-Aqsa mosque and whole Palestine is a religious duty on the nation as abandoning the Islamic sovereignty on al-Quds and Palestine is not less dangerous than the occupation attempts to judize this city.
The Ministry added in a statement on al-Quds Day that the calls for solidarity with Palestine come in light of the great status of al-Quds, the cradle of the heavenly religions and in condemnation of the Zionist entity’s massacres and violations of human rights.
Al-Quds Day comes on the last week of the holy month of Ramadan.
