
The Syrian army continued its advances in those areas of the recently-recaptured Hama province which were still under militants' control, and cleared their path for making similar advances towards the Northeastern Idlib province.
The army units continued their advances in the Northern parts of Hama province after regaining control over Tibet al-Imam, Lweibde, Zour Abu Zaid and bridge of Helfaya as well as Al-Saman and Al-Kafr regions in Northern Hama.
Meantime, Syrian military sources announced that the Syrian army will soon reach Idlib province in the Northwestern parts of the country.
On Sunday, the Syrian army continued its mop-up operations against the militants in Hama and won back control over several regions.
Syrian soldiers restored security to more areas of the Northern Province of Hama after killing a large number of foreign-backed rebels in a series of fresh operations.
Two days ago, Syrian soldiers, along with national defense forces, recaptured Helfaya town in the countryside of the central province of Hama, which resulted in killing, wounding, and arresting of too many militants.
