
More terrorists were killed in large-scale military operations launched on Monday against armed terrorist organizations in several areas around the country.
Units of the armed forces foiled terrorists’ infiltration attempt and targeted their gatherings and dens in the countryside of Idleb northern province, leaving many of them dead and wounded and destroying a number of their cars.
A military source told SANA reporter that units of the armed forces targeted a convoy of the terrorists’ cars in the city of Abu al-Douhor and in Talab village to the south of the airport in Idleb where a number of terrorists were killed and injured and many of their cars were destroyed.
An army unit completely destroyed a factory for explosive devices and a store of rockets in Sarja, killing eleven terrorists.
Another army units killed scores of terrorists and wounded others, destroying an armored vehicle and two cars equipped with heavy machineguns which they were using in Saraqeb in the countryside, according to the source.
Gatherings and dens of terrorists were also targeted in the areas of Saraqeb, Mantaf and Ihsem in the countryside where a number of terrorists were killed and wounded while a car equipped with heavy machinegun was destroyed.
Two dens of terrorists were destroyed in al-Arba’ain area where scores of terrorists were killed and others were injured.
Army units thwarted terrorists’ attempt to infiltrate from al-Doha into Kroom Jaba in Quneitra countryside, leaving many of them dead and wounded and destroying a number of their cars.
The army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings to the south of Ein Hussein al-Janoubi village in Homs countryside and a terrorists’ leaders den in the village of Deir Foul, killing a number of them and injuring others.
Two vehicles, one of them equipped with heavy machinegun, were also destroyed, according to a military source.
Another army unit targeted terrorists’ gatherings in Tal Abu al-Sanasel in the countryside, leaving a number of them dead and wounded and destroying a bulldozer they were using, the source told SANA reporter.
