The Syrian army killed tens of militants in fierce clashes in the Northwestern parts of the Muslim country.
At least 20 terrorists who intended to attack a military post in the Southwestern parts of Idlib were killed in an army ambush in the province on Saturday.
On Wednesday, the Syrian Army stormed the hideouts of terrorists and foreign-backed rebels in Idlib province, inflicting massive losses on them.
The army soldiers claimed the lives of large members of Jund al-Aqsa terrorist organization in the towns of Koureen and Bkfaloun in Idlib, destroying two of their vehicles equipped with heavy machine-guns.
Too many non-Syrian terrorists were also killed during the operations.
Syria has been experiencing unrest since March 2011 with organized attacks by well-armed gangs and terrorists against both the army and civilians.
The unrest, which took in terrorist groups from across Europe, the Middle-East and North Africa, has transpired as one of the bloodiest conflicts in recent history.
As the foreign-backed insurgency in Syria continues without an end in sight, the US government has boosted its political and military support to Takfiri extremists.
