Syrian military airstrikes on the city of Al-Mayadeen in eastern Syria's Deir Al-Zour province earlier on Sunday killed at least 10 people and injured around 50 others, reports said.
The tally was revealed by sources "on the ground," who were quoted by independently-run news agency, Syria Mubasher. The raid targeted a public car park where a group of people were gathered.
The affiliation of those targeted seems unclear, as the sources mentioned that their location was far away from nearby ISIL HQs, and that the militant group did not respond to the attack.
Meanwhile the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that Syrian airstrikes also killed seven people, including a child, in a nearby ISIL-controlled town.
