The Syrian opposition forces have made new gains in the northern strategic city of Aleppo on Friday after seizing control of several areas, notably Al-Handarat camp.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said in a press statement that the opposition forces' intensify attack and heavy fire have forced the government forces and its loyal militias to retreat and leave some of its previously controlled areas in the city.
Also in Aleppo, the death tally of two massacres committed by the regime warplanes in the northern Al-Bab neighbourhood went up to 52 civilians, including at least 10 children, the SOHR announced.
In Damascus countryside, the SOHR said that the regime aircraft bombarded the towns of Saqba and Ain Tarma, killing at least eight people and injuring scores others. It expected that the death tally could rise as many of the injured are in critical conditions.
