
Jaish Al-Islam and other Syrian Islamist groups launched mortar and missile attacks on the regime's military camps in Damascus, Aleppo and Latakia on Sunday.
The attacks left at least 90 casualties including servicemen, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported.
Jaish Al-Islam fired 53 missiles on several neighborhoods in the capital city, killing seven people, among who were two soldiers, and wounding 45 others.
In the northern city of Aleppo four people were killed and 20 others injured as a result of mortar attacks by opposition groups.
Two people were killed and 10 others wounded when three missiles hit near Al-Haround district in Latakia, northwest Syria, according to SHOR.
In a related development, Al-Nusra Front, Syria Revolutionaries Front and other Islamist groups managed to control Brigade 82 near Sheikh Maskin district in the southern Daraa Governorate after a coordinated assault.
The fighting with the regular troops resulted in more than 40 deaths on both sides.
The regime's Air Force retaliated with launching eight strikes on Sheikh Maskin and nearby areas, killing five opposition fighters, SOHR added.
