
Syrian opposition has taken control of western Qalamoun in Rif Damascus and the international road after battles with security forces in Eastern Ghouta, SkyNews reported.
The all-news network, quoting opposition activists, said Ghouta battle has forced the Syrian army to withdraw its troops and military vehicles from the surroundings of the sieged Zabdani city in Rif Damascus in northwestern the country.
Syrian helicopters shelled 13 barrel bombs on Zabdani, according to activists.
Meanwhile, the Syrian government forces shelled the ancient city of Tadmour in Homs, while other clashes were going on in the southern front of Talibsa city
