Tarawneh: Palestinian issue is top priority for Jordan

Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament Atef Tarawneh said the Palestinian issue is a top priority for Jordan. At a meeting with the Chilean Ambassador to Jordan, Eduardo Escobar Marin, Tarawneh stressed the centrality of the Palestinian cause, adding that security and stability in the region and the world is linked to finding a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue.The Speaker also emphasized the need to find a political solution to the crisis in Syria that ends bloodshed and violence.He also briefed the ambassador on Jordan’s reform process, pointing to laws that have been implemented to achieve political, economic and social reforms in the Kingdom.
