Security measures are tightened in the vicinity of the Ittihadiya Palace as Egypt marks the third anniversary of the January 25 Revolution. Two armored vehicles are parked on Merghani Street just above the Orouba Tunnel, MENA reporter says, adding that another two are seen outside gate 4 of the palace just opposite Omar bin Abdel-Aziz Mosque. Three security checkpoints are also in the vicinity of the Orouba Tunnel, as well as a civil defense vehicle. Barbed wires are set in the middle of Merghani and Ahram streets so that troops can close all roads leading to the palace when needed.
