Prosecutor General Hisham Barakat called Monday for swiftly enforcing the law of the "terrorist entities".
"There will be no room for terrorists and terrorism in the country and Egypt will only be subject to the will of its people and the rule of law," Barakat said in a statement issued by his office.
The top prosecutor added that Monday's explosion outside the High Court of Justice in downtown Cairo and other terrorist attacks sought to undermine the security and stability of the nation.
The Public Prosecution is going ahead with its mission to protect the interests of the nation and track down the culprits.
