A Tripoli Court of Appeal resumed on Sunday the trial of 32 former officials in late Libyan president Muammaer Gaddafi's regime.
Seif al Islam Gaddafi, son of the Libyan leader, did not attend the session for the eight time running.
Some 32 Gaddafi regime officials face charges of killing and repression of demonstrators during the 2011 uprising that toppled late Colonel Gaddafi regime, as well as contribution to genocide and besieging towns and villages that demonstrated against Gaddafi's regime. They also face charges of misuse of public funds.
The court listened to a number of defense lawyers and fined others for not attending the previous session.
