
The Cairo Criminal Court on Tuesday adjourned till Sunday the trial of eight supporters of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group over rioting charges in the Cairo district of Helwan.
The postponement decision was taken to continue hearing the testimonies of the witnesses.
The defendants, including three fugitives and one released on bail, are being tried over charges of forming an unlawful group on August 14, 2013 to June 30, 2015, aimed at disrupting public security, and harming the country’s public institutions in Helwan.
