Trial of defendants accused of attacking Helwan police station adjourned

The Cairo Criminal Court has adjourned until February 19 the trial of 51 defendants on charges of storming and burning Helwan Police Station in the wake of ending Muslim Brotherhood protest camps in Cairo in August 2013.
Three police officers and three citizens were killed in the attack on the police station, and 19 more were injured.
They face charges of terrorism, sabotaging public and private property, possessing firearms and destroying police and private vehicles, plus premeditated and attempted murder.
