Cairo Criminal Court decided Sunday to postpone until September 20 the trial of ousted president Mohamed Morsi and 35 defendants of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (MB) leaders on charges of spying.
The postponement decision came to check the emails and statements issued by Egypt's president during Morsi's reign from July 30, 2012 till July 3, 2013.
The court decided also to investigate the entry of Hamas militants into Egypt during the January 25 revolution.
Morsi and the 35 other Brotherhood figures are facing charges of collaborating with foreign organizations to commit acts of terrorism in Egypt, revealing defense secrets to a foreign country and funding terrorist groups.
