
Tunisian President, Beji Caid Essebsi, has met with the Arab Parliament Speaker, Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, and discussed relations between his country and the Arab Parliament.
In remarks following the meeting, Al Jarwan said the talks dealt with developments of the current political and security situations in the Arab region, and the role Tunisia is playing to support Arab partnership and cooperation.
Al Jarwan was in Tunisia to participate in an international symposium in Sousse on the theme "Promoting Peace and Dialogue Values" which closed yesterday (Wednesday) and was co-organised by the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation, ISESCO, the Arab Organisation for Education, Culture and Science, ALECSO, and the Tunisian Ministry of Education.
