Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on Sunday said that everyone speaks unfairly about Turkey, would apologize to the Turkish people, who are proud of their country's approach.
In his speech in Istanbul commenting on apology by US Vice President Joe Biden, who accused Turkey of financing and even arming militants in Syria, Davutoglu said no one has the right to criticize Ankara on Syria.
Davutoglu added that Turkey was the one who provided more humanitarian aid to the refugees, expressing his gratitude to citizens nationwide for hosting refugees from Syria, Iraq, Palestine and Somalia.
Biden has apologized to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for any implication in his remarks at Harvard University last Thursday that Turkey supports Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) militants, who have seized swathes of Iraq and Syria.
Biden's comments touched a painful nerve in Turkey. Turkey currently hosts about 1.5 million Syrian refugees.
