The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has strongly condemned the terrorist attack which has recently targeted a number of forces of order protection in the Kingdom of Bahrain, killing them including First Lieutenant Tareq Al Shehi, an Emirati. The UAE Cabinet affirmed in a statement today that this terrorist act will not deter it from shouldering its responsibilities towards Bahrain, expressing its full confidence in the competence and ability of the Bahraini security agencies to apprehend those responsible for this brutal crime and to bring them to Bahraini justice. The Cabinet statement also confirmed UAE support for the National Dialogue Initiative launched by King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain, which seeks to enhance national unity and to maintain security and stability in Bahrain.
