
Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, discussed separately on Tuesday bilateral ties with Egyptian Premier Ibrahim Mahlab and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal. According to a statement issued on UAE news agency (WAM), Sheikh Mohammad discussed with Mahlab progress on bilateral as well as issues of mutual interest. "They also reviewed ties of cooperation in different developmental, social and economic fronts and ways to enhance them," the statement noted. Sheikh Mohammad said the two countries were engaged on continuous consultations on common issues, thanks to the support and following up of their leaderships. The two sides also exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments. The Egyptian Prime Minister expressed satisfaction at the levels of coordination and cooperation between the two countries, and thanks UAE leadership and sincere interest on the stability, security and future of Egypt. Mahlab extended thanks of the Egyptian people to the UAE for the continuous support to the development, economic and social programs currently underway in different parts of Egypt which include construction of schools and houses and renovation of hospitals. Meanwhile, the statement added that the Saudi minister conveyed a verbal message from Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz which highlighted boosting strategic relations between the two countries. During the meeting, the two sides also tackled developments in the region, and issues with regard to bolstering all kinds of bilateral cooperation
