UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash said that the United Arab Emirates has decided to resume its Embassy's work in the Yemeni city of Aden, WAM reported on Friday.
He said in a statement that this decision comes to consolidate constitutional legitimacy in the sisterly state of Yemen, represented in President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi and his government.
Gargash reiterated the UAE's absolute rejection of the Houthi coup d'etat, noting that security and stability of Yemen can be accomplished through restoration of legitimacy and the political process.
